Making Connections

Our task is to make connections between the Word of God we read in the Bible and the world around us.

We are then called to uphold the world and its needs in our prayers ... and to uphold the values of God’s kingdom in the world.

News content comes from the BBC and from Ekklesia.co.uk: it is not produced by Highbury Church and does not reflect the views of the church.

The Bible readings come from the Presbyterian Church of the USA and are based on the Revised Common Lectionary.

We use the Sunday readings at our evening service  and in our prayer handbook produced by the Council for World Mission.
